Dear Parent,

We miss you!!

Hope everyone is keeping in good health and spirits during these challenging times. Many of you have expressed a need for urgent care and “new cavities” during this time. As such, we are offering a “soft reopening” starting June 13. This phase of reopening includes the following:

1. Limited number of appointments on a first-come-first-serve basis (except for emergencies which have separate time slots). This is to minimize patient volume and enhance social distancing. It’s is important that you confirm (or cancel) your appointments via our text/email messaging system. Your appointment would be released to the next person on our wait list without a response.

2. All Covid safety precautions as per the CDC/ADA are in place at our 5 room clinic. Only two rooms will be used at any given time for treatment allowing a safe and thorough cleaning between patients. We have spared no expense in terms of upgrading our Hepa/UV air exchange system and disinfection protocols! As such, please expect a nominal fee of $15 to keep up with safety regulations and PPE costs (kids get a Disney mask for free). Details of pre appointment Covid precautions/questionnaire will be communicated within 48 hours of your appointment. Please address those. Children and one accompanying parent allowed with mask at all times. Everyone will have their temperatures taken with infrared thermometers. All aspects of paperwork will be digital/touch less.

3. During our soft reopening, we are offering appointments on Saturdays only. Please understand, due to safety precautions, we have different doctors rotating; you have met them and they (along with our staff) are cleared and constantly monitored for optimal health as per professional guidelines. We look forward to serving you in the safest possible way and reconnecting!

4. Full operations will resume once NYC is in phase 2 as per Governor Cuomo. We will announce the same when that happens.

As always, feel free to reach out and leave a message at 212.810.6562 or email us at

Best wishes always,
Dr Lal
